Last night Joe and I were able to get to the Wayne County Museum to see the quilt exhibit. http://waynecountyhistoricalnc.org/ You can see the hours of operation at this website. It is a very nice museum. I have been there for different exhibits in the past and am impressed with what they do there. If you want to take the time you can look at the different things they are offering on their website. I wish I had more time to be able to take advantage of some of their upcoming events.
The quilt show information is here:

"Quilts and their Stories"
Over 25 Quilts on Display
February 2012
Well that didn't copy and past very good, but there is the information from their website.
Each quilt that is on display has its story accompaning it. It is fascinating to see what inspired the quilters. If you love quilts you don't want to miss this.
It is true that each of the quilts we make has a story that goes with it. I know that I love to go to groups that study vintage quilts and wish that we knew the story behind each of them. Maybe we should be writing up the quilts story as well as labelling our quilts.
Sorry, no pictures as I forgot my camera.
